Strengthening Our UK Partnerships

The past few weeks at Empire have been full of energy, collaboration, and shared purpose. We’ve welcomed several key partners into our space, each visit reinforcing the collective commitment to improving outcomes for young people and shared learning.
Active Lancashire & Lancashire Youth Challenge
We were delighted to host both Active Lancashire and Lancashire Youth Challenge as we explored how to deepen our collaboration. Together, we began shaping plans to expand our impact and refine our delivery model across the county. These conversations are paving the way for stronger, more connected support systems for young people, and we’re excited about what’s coming next.
Our network of organisations in Lancashire is now being supported by delivery lead partners Lancashire Youth Challenge, who are sharing their learning and expertise with other Lancashire-based Box Champions delivery organisations. This peer-led support model is helping strengthen quality, consistency, and sustainability in the region.
Be Inspired
Our team also had the pleasure of spending time with Be Inspired from Croydon, sharing insights into our programme development and the innovative approaches that underpin our work. This included a closer look at Box Therapy, one of our most powerful tools for emotional regulation, confidence building, and personal growth. The exchange of ideas was inspiring, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this shared knowledge can support their future delivery.
Be Inspired also shared with us their knowledge and expertise in serious youth violence, offering valuable insights that will help us continue to shape responsive, relevant, and preventative interventions for young people across Bristol.
Wrexham Youth Justice Service
We rounded off our recent visits with training for Wrexham Youth Justice Service, equipping their team to deliver our Box Champions programme. We have been working with the amazing team at Wrexham Youth Justice for over four years. Empowering partners to take these programmes into their own communities is a core part of our mission, and it’s fantastic to see the reach of Box Champions continuing to grow.
Looking Ahead
These visits highlight something important: Empire’s work is not just about what happens within our own walls. It’s about building a network of organisations who share our vision and are ready to collaborate, innovate, and drive meaningful change. With new partnerships forming, shared learning strengthening our collective approach, and more organisations stepping forward to deliver our programmes, the momentum is building.
We’re proud of the progress made, and even more excited about what lies ahead as we continue to expand our impact across the UK and beyond.
